Some of my client's properties need major cleaning up and hauling. But no task is to large, it can be done!
The amount of junk is sometimes surprising! Some of the junk can be recycled and some of it can also be sold to the right type of buyer by having estate sales.

I come across interesting items in my client's homes. In this case we have a combination stereo and television furniture piece and a stove from what seems to be the 50s or 60s. There is antique shops and vintage appliance stores that I call and let know about these items but strangely there is not the amount of interest that you figure people should have? Many times they want them for free or nearly free?
Businesses that refurbish and re-sell these items take storage space, time to sell and consumer demand into consideration before offering to purchase. People who see these items think they are neat and may think about having them for themselves but when they start thinking about where they would keep it and their usefulness and practicality they have second thoughts about buying them. I still think eventually I will find someone who will value items such as these and will appreciate me letting them know about them and having my clients make some money by selling them. If you know of someone who appreciates items such as these please let me know. |
